Already in the 16th century, Europe became aware of the presence of grandiose ruins here, which became a binding point for the expansion of the European mantras of the 19th century. Flaubert, Twain and Bunin have deprived this description of their enemies from Baalbek. Large-scale excavations were started by German scientists in 1898. and the five fates were celebrated. After the First World War, the French began clearing the land.
Important reminders
The Temple of Jupiter is about to endure great controversy. The base blocks weigh 800-1000 tons. By the way, this spore will top the pyramid of Cheops, the largest granite block of which (the stone above the entrance to the king’s chamber) weighs 90 tons. And the largest block at Baalbek, under the name “Pivddennyi Kamen” (from the old Arabic name “Ghayar el-Qibli”), which has never been identified from the quarry, but for all signs of preparations to complete the platform, And vzagali reaches yours 1050 tons
The main mystery of Baalbek reveals where the temple stands. Her treasure contains three famous slabs - the Trilithon of Baalbek, of absolutely incredible dimensions and weighing nearly 800 tons (according to one old legend, these blocks lay here forever and were considered sacred). These magnificent blocks were moved at a height of 7 meters.

Urivok, which characterizes Baalbek
It was still locking, and I thought the story was over. In his dim gray eyes there was a squelch of such a deep, bare tightness that I realized how difficult it is to live a little, helping the khans, bright and beautiful people, seeing them off to their death, and knowing how easy it would be they shouldn't be lied to, even by stretching out your hand... And how wrong, in my opinion, was this unwritten “truth” about not giving justice on Earth until (you decide, once!..) the “right” hour comes. how could it never have come...“Ludina is still weak-willed, Izidoro...” Pivnich began quietly speaking again. - And the roots, and the health in the new, unfortunately, more, we can’t get better. People still don’t dare to follow the Pure and Light - it hurts their “pride” and makes them very angry, because they need to be angry with the people “like” them. And the Thinking Darks, miraculously knowing and selfishly, have always easily led people to first give up and find “new” Gods, causing the “sprage” of the collapse of the beautiful and the light. And then, to the end of the disgrace, they turned the same new “gods” around like the Great Martyrs, poor “by mercy”... Christ, let us say, has become too distant for people... And we need to cleanse... That’s why, even after death, people cried out for him with such cruelty, not harming and not messing around, suffering like those before themselves. So, from the late War, the fearful God, who called for the left cheek to strike on the right, was lost in people’s memory. And because of his great Love, the pitiful laugh was lost, stones were thrown... Wonderful pure girl who changed her mind for the woman who was “forgiven” by Christ, who rose from the brood, “sickened”... People are still bad and evil Isidore... Don’t give yourself credit for them! Even though Christ has risen, all the stench cannot calm down, knowing His Name. Don’t give yourself Isidora for them!
- Well, in your opinion, ALL people are bad and evil?.. There are so many beautiful people on Earth, Pivnich! And not everyone needs “falling down”, God, believe me! Marvel at me - why don’t you bachish? I would need the living Christ, just like my marvelous Lyubov - Magdalene...
Pivnich grinned.
- Because you - Iz-i-do-ra... You pray to other gods. But I hardly need to pray! They will be with you forever and cannot leave you. Your gods are Good and Love, Light and Knowledge, and Pure Primordial Power. These are the Gods of Wisdom, and these are those to whom we pray. People don’t recognize them yet. We still need something else... People need something, someone who can stink, if they feel bad; Who can they call upon if they don’t spare; whoever they can ask for, if they want something; who can they teach if they “sin”... Axis, what is still needed by people... And another impersonal hour will pass until people demand such a God, who would give everything for him, and even more so - more and more having said goodbye... It’s necessary to do this manually, so that you can understand, Izidoro... The person is not yet ready to do anything on her own.
“Show me, Pivnich...” I asked for a whisper. - Show me what kind of guy he is.
The air around was filled with soft smoke, sparkling and thickening, and the sky opened up to a secret invisible door. And then I told them!.. Near the spacious stone stove, two wonderful white children were cheerfully saying goodbye, sitting next to a small natural stone fountain. The world around them seemed happy and sleepy, absorbing the quiet joy that flowed through their wonderful souls... The boy was proud, tall and even stringent for his thirteen rocks. He had great inner strength, but at the same time he was soft and even more accepting. I marveled at the world cheerfully, and... even wisely, there were at least a hundred rocks in the middle. For an hour, his mercurial blue eyes sparkled, piercing with a steely gray color, and then immediately sparkled with merriment again, admiring his charming funny companion... And the girl was truly extremely garna. Vaughn guessed that a pure angel had just descended from heaven. Pressed close to her breasts, she was clutching an old book. I probably wasn’t going to let her go. The flap, already long-haired with gold, was knitted with a black seam stitch, which in the distance revealed the color of her smiling, sky-blue eyes. Little dimples on her erysipelas made her look sweet and cheerful, like a clean grass wound... The children were chilled in their long, snow-white, new clothes, dressed in golden belts, and looked like a miracle couple who had come out of a dark old age ї pictures... It stinks wonderfully a friend came up. others, which are additionally and jointly lacking in the skin, creating one whole, as it would be impossible to tear... Here are Jesus and Magdalene, the future Savior of Humanity, and they are one and great, the future of Love.
- Well, the stench is completely different! – I squealed, marveling widely. - Not at all like they are portrayed as! Why don't you stink?!
“And they didn’t stink at all,” Pivnich said, looking down at his shoulders. – All these people, who needed power, even “reasonably” considered the status of “children of a beaten God”, thus, the boys “WILL RECOVER” the most unsafe people on Earth. Jesus was the son of the White Magus and our disciple, the Witch Mary. The stench gave birth to Yogo in order to bring Yogo’s wondrous soul to Earth.
I stopped marveling at the Evening...
- What about the Jewish woman Maria and Yosip?! Like the same Nazareth?
– There were no Jewish women Maria, Izidor, or Anya Josip in charge of Jesus. There was the Witch Mary, who, right before her people, went here to Meteora, so that she could be born here, among the Magi and Vid. Once upon a time, she dreamed... Jesus was born a long time ago, ON Svitanka, at a little budinochka on a birch river. And her people were accompanied by Svetla Rankova Zirka. Our Magi hastened to the new one in order to help him and capture him. And this Teacher and Father came to bow to the miraculous soul of their newborn son. The Magi called him to Earth to stop the “plague”, which, like a spider, had been weaving its black webs here for a long time. And the Magi themselves sent Christ before the Jews. Ale Jesus himself is no longer alive. The Magi believed that there would be enough strength in the new one to stop the “black” Evil that had already spread across the Earth. Ale Jesus lost, underestimating the “great weaknesses” of people... The Earth was not ready before His coming, just as it was not ready before the coming of the KNOWING, Isidora. And we are not ready to help her. When the right hour comes, we will open the Door. And perhaps we will experience Light on Earth. Aletskogo won’t be here for much longer... You’re asking.
I have no interest in ancient technologies, which, judging from the artifacts that have been preserved, have greatly advanced modern humanity.
Mysteries of ancient civilizations... Hundreds of TV shows and documentaries have been created on this topic, which is extolled. It’s not surprising, even though human nature is always unknown, especially when dealing with something mysterious and mysterious. Ale food, as before, more, lower types. An example of this is the famous Baalbek terrace.
Marveling at the early development of such a phenomenon as technological progress, human beings, or rather, their keen minds, rightly draw attention to the simple question: “Who?”, “What’s the next?” and how?"
The terrace in Baalbek is a mega-awakening of the ancients, the very possibility of its creation is not explained by current science. Ufologists tend to attribute everything to gifts from the city residents. But they seem to stubbornly disagree with both these and other ideas about the capabilities of the great civilizations that inhabited the Earth before us. Even so, it is because of the lack of “intangible” nutrition that it will be necessary to carry out a fundamental revision of the foundations of this modern science.
Little things about Baalbek himself
As near the Beqaa Valley, at the foot of the Anti-Lebanese Mountains, 90 kilometers from modern Beirut, large numbers of sporods appeared, of which today the ruins were deprived of civil rights, no one is reliable but I don’t know.
It appears that the prosperous town of Baalbek was turned into a Roman colony during the reign of the ancient Roman Emperor Augustus. The temple of Jupiter, impressive in its scale and power of construction, bears witness to the Roman period of Baalbek. The temple suffered greatly during the war, and the remainder was destroyed by an earthquake in 1759. It was impossible for us to see much of the temple and the two great courtyards in the polished columned gallery with a beautiful portico at the entrance.
The scale of the long-standing cult controversy is such that the famous Parthenon in Athens truly seems simply pygmy! What is even more impressive is the foundation on which the temple of Jupiter was built. It is very confusing to note that the colossal dimensions of the stones were shaved on some buildings (the so-called Baalbek terraces) and were founded long before the Romans. They only vikorized them as the foundation for the temple of their god.
Who and who?
Today, no one can say with success that these great terraces have been created. Some people are inclined to attribute the glory of their glory to the founders of the temple itself - the Romans. Ignoring the fact that the mega-slabs of Baalbek were first thought of in 804 BC, while the Roman Empire ended in the 30s BC. Apparently up to ten years of open water, in 5 thousand B.C. e. The Baalbek terraces were already standing!
What knowledge and opinions did the engineers and civil servants of this colossal controversy have? And in front of the masters there was a task to lift the shaved wagon with 750 tons to a height of 7-8 meters! Before this, the stinks carefully formed and took on the shape of an ideal living block. All the blocks of the Baalbek terraces fit exactly, exactly and firmly one to another, without creating any gaps! So, such vibrancy and Vinyatkov’s accuracy have been demonstrated in the prepared and installed Veleten “tseglins” that it would be impossible to repeat with the help of high-precision daily equipment! Particularly respect the dimensions of the megaliths.
Some successors confirm that the effect of a perfectly strong fit is ensured by the softness and pliability of the surface-marmur-surface structure of the stone. If it works this way, then during processing you will likely lose traces of grinding and other mechanical defects, and there are no such things. Mandrivnik and writer Karigor Olegin, who admires the grandeur and hardness of this recent debate, means that the precision of processing the surface of the blocks of the Baalbek platform is the ruin of the stone makers of our time. .
Vidomo Napoleon's comrade-in-arms, Marshal Marmont, who visited Baalbek in 1840, wrote that the great hewn blocks lie without joints and are so well fitted that the blade of a knife cannot go between them. In fact, the fit of the blocks is ideal. The cutting edge of the safety razor “Sputnik” is 0.01 mm (!) and does not fit into the gap. To be more precise, there is no gap whatsoever. The sky blocks are mixed one by one: no drops of water will seep down onto the stick!
All the titanic quality of the Baalbek terrace lies in the massiveness of the stones that were stacked there. It has incredibly large slabs, like blocks of trilithon (three stones). It is not without reason that the legend can tell that this stone has lain here forever. The height of them reaches 21 meters, the height is 5 meters and the top is 4 meters. The capacity of the skin is 300 to 310 cubic meters, and the volume is up to 750 tons!
Such a block had to be delivered from the quarry to the place of everyday life, and transferred to the platform about 500 meters. Vikorist's alarm bells for this wooden sleigh (as historians assume!), they would have changed in a second on the pressed tree. Tim more, it is impossible to drive a sleigh on such an uneven terrain as in the outskirts of Baalbek.
Raising 50,000 people to transport one medium-sized block at that time was impossible, since for the ancient world this was a fantastic figure. Today, there are only a few ancient places whose population could approach such a figure.
In addition, randomly chipped stone slabs were placed at an eight-meter height. How did they get rid of the stench of Tudi? How could people have been victorious in those immemorial hours for the wakefulness of terasis?
Today, a number of the world's most heavy-duty cranes are in operation, with lifting capacity not less than 750, but up to 6,000 tons. However, it is impossible to move from this area without putting such a crane on crawler tracks. Alas, I say again, you just need a straight road. No traces of such a road were found anywhere in the Baalbek area, as there was no sign of a crane.
The greatest treasure in the world lies when leaving Baalbek. The wine was never drawn from the quarry. This monolith is called “Pivdnya Stone”, the length is 21 meters, the volume is 433 cubic meters and the cargo capacity is over 1000 tons. Three Boeing planes are captured at once! The assignment to the strongest block has become unknown.
This sporuda significantly exceeds the pyramid of Cheops, the largest granite blocks of which are “overall” ranging from 50 to 80 tons.
According to a number of people, the “stone monuments” of our planet, including Baalbek, were created by the creations of the ancient civilization of the Atlanteans and were created in such a way that they could not be “extracted” and “wasted.”
Until the “eternal” foundation of the Baalbek Terrace is achieved, it is not impossible to ignore the belief that people are being destroyed by a flood, then this megalithic spore will be lost. It is possible, as people always call out, to guess that their lives are different from the lives of their stone shavers. Even, standing next to the trilithons, you suddenly feel like you are pricking in this sea of eternity.
Russian mandrivnik of the 19th century D.K. beat our piha a little..."
There is no doubt that in the hours that passed the Roman colonization of the Nearby, the same power could not ensure such a laborious daily life. So who is the name of Baalbek?
Anastasia Novykh’s book “Sensei-IV” talks about how the “Baalbek Veranda” was nothing more than a cosmodrome. “This is such a majestic platform, made of giant blocks, weighing 360 tons of leather, with special openings on both sides of the platform. Archaeologists are still racking their brains over these meanings. “It’s true, when we heard about the world of people from earlier eras, we’ve already begun to guess that it’s similar to a cosmodrome,” Sensei chuckled. - Her honesty is disgusting! The stench follows the smoke of the burning spaceships, naturally looming under the burning heat of its components, as seen on this day. - And Sensei stated to his surprise. “What did you say, why did your mother need such fire in order to fly, for example, from Sirius, and then turn back?!” Funny smells are found in the wake of burning-oil materials, but they do not admit that the world increasingly has other sources of alternative energies that are more economical and environmentally friendly. Well, as it seems, whoever receives the information is the one who trusts it.
The “Baalbek verandah” was also built as cosmodromes, which did not require such a large area for landing approaches. For these ships, a central area was allocated at the base of the Nile “kvitka”. Naturally, such an intense revolution could not be lost to unnoticed people; even so many ancient legends about that hour have been preserved in the memory of generations.” .
The creators of this architectural complex developed technologies that greatly overcame the modern world, including, perhaps, anti-gravity, which allowed them to move large objects and destroy colossal spores. Today we have a unique opportunity to learn more about such physical phenomena that different civilizations have developed, to learn the essence and principles of their activities.
And we were spurred on by the wonder of the destruction of ancient times, including the Baalbek miracle terrace. There it stood, stands and stands like a wondrous mystery, like the gaze of distant ancestors over everyday science. Having been more than a thousand years away from us, she will tell us that there is nothing impossible for a human being!

At the front planting we assessed the size of the building blocks and looked at how everything looked. Alas, I’m going crazy about the deep history of this dispute. Very good speeches. Let's read...
Directly to Baalbek, we leave the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and rise to the dry ashes of the Lebanese mountains, straight along the road that the fifth Macedonian and third Gallic legions of Augustus took two thousand years ago. The roots of the Finnish places of preservation, and the new city of Beirut, named Colony of Julia Augusta, Felix Beirutus, then the happy colony of Beirut of Julia Augusta (daughters of the emperor), having been lost behind, the fleet is safe takes legionnaires from the ground. In front is Heliopolis, a small, but rich, seventh place, so named by the Seleucids, descendants of Alexander the Great, in honor of the god Sun. Previously, the place was called Baal Bek - Place of Baal. The Romans know that Heliopolis is the ancient center of the In other religions, people are aware of their redness. and the women are beautiful. Here live the most beautiful flutes of the world and stand the miraculous temples dedicated to the Son.
From the pass you can see a wide valley, up to ten kilometers of valley and nearly a hundred kilometers of valley. On the other side are the ores and purple ridges of the Anti-Lebanon ridge, on the tops of which there is snow. The pivdennaya part of the valley is a thicket with the outline of a lake; The place itself is moving forward, and there, in the middle of the river that flows down to the lake, stands the place itself - rows of small buildings surrounded by stone parks, hangings of markets and in the middle of the hills of the Acropolis, topping it only small churches built according to Hellenic images.
The legionnaires go down, not worrying about the guards and not worrying about the battle formations. The campaign is short, unimportant, and the legionnaires, who have recovered from the battles on the birch, are weather-beaten and smeared, are cheerfully exchanging heat. You can’t guess how many places the streets were filled with legions. More in some places, less in some places...
The main temple of Baal Bek, awakening from time immemorial, was dedicated to the Aramaic god Hadad, the god of flash and thunder, who was the ruler of sending planks to the fields so that the harvest would ripen and fall, so that the harvest would be harvested. The head of Hadad was crowned with a scale, within hours the Seleucids identified him with the god Sun, and therefore the temple of Hadad became the temple of Jupiter Heliopolitanus. It was continued and expanded, the number of pilgrims grew, and the temple lost its popularity, giving a new name to the place - Heliopolis.
After the conquest of Blizky Skhod by the Romans, the importance of Heliopolis continued to grow. And it’s no less that here was the temple of Jupiter Hadad. Heliopolis controlled the native valley, rich in fresh water, forests, vineyards, being the largest transit point for caravans that went directly from the coast to the edges of the country, in addition, serving as a military base for the Romans. Roman commanders began campaigns against Parthia.

In 116, Emperor Trajan appeared at the oracle of the Temple of Jupiter in Heliopolis. You decided to check the all-knowing wizard and instead of giving him a clean tablet for writing, buried in a cloth. At the same time, having rejected this very thing; This sang to the emperor at the penetration of the oracle. - So what will the residual evidence be? - Having asked the emperor.
Trajan saw a bunch of twigs sunburned by a ganchir. Good luck to the emperor, who perished at Cilicia. His body was burned on fire. The prophecy has begun. So it’s an overstatement to say so. Of course, the emperor may not have died, and then the same bitches could have been treated differently. But it is more important for us: until the 2nd century, the temple at Heliopolis became part of the ancient world, even before the oracle of the Roman emperors. Emperor Antoninus Pius (138-161) ordered the replacement of the old temple of Jupiter with the construction of a new temple, the largest in the world. It was the impersonality of the slaves that coveted great pennies. The respect of the Roman court before the stay in the Valley of Lebanon was further fueled by the fact that in the days of Rome the emperors themselves were not pure-blooded Romans: Septimius Pivnich married the Lebanese Budyn Yulia Bassiana Emes whose son, Emperor Caracalla, was already half Lebanese. And for the advancing emperors of the Severian dynasty, the distant Lebanese valley ceased to be a stranger, not the homes of their mothers and squads. Mother Karakali, wise and powerful Yulia Domna, helped her husband Septimia Pivnocha, and then her sons, to rule the state.

Rome has a lot of other powerful figures from Lebanon and Syria. The obsessive interests of the Phoenicians will seize key positions from the empire. The Lebanese and Syrians command legions, trade, and sit in the Senate. Caracalla and his mother wrote the word “Heliopolis” on their coins. For them, everyday life flared up with renewed vigor, according to Antonin Pius. The Temple of Sontsa, and the whole acropolis, was overcome by the emperor, burying the mandarins and pilgrims. Nothing could compare with this acropolis in the entire Roman Empire, even in the capital itself. And through many fates, when the Arabs captured Baalbek and transformed the acropolis into a fortress, the stench began to sing as if King Solomon had awakened. Even if no one, except Solomon, had power over the genies, and no one except the genies, no one could have created such a temple. Obviously, the Arabs did not know about the birth of aliens.
The Acropolis will not be restored.

His life dragged on, and the soldier emperors, who were overseeing the empire at the end of the sunset, could not, and were not allowed to, invest the said money in the building of the temple. The temple was so close to completion that even after Caracalli began work, and few people realized that the primary plans of the architects were completed and the temple was built in a less elaborate manner, although I went to Caracalla.
Great gatherings, capable of accommodating an entire legion, led to the colonnade of the main entrance to the acropolis. The entrance arch, decorated with sculptures, was fifteen meters long and ten meters wide. Having passed under it, the guide sunk at the six-room underbelly, also sharpened by the colonnade. Behind it is another main door of the acropolis. This door occupied over a hectare. The majestic sky is in the middle of the sky. The colonies that had settled in the area were priced at the same price as gold. These porphyry colonies were dug in quarries in Egypt, near the Red Sea. They were collected and polished in Egypt, then pulled to the Nile, transported on barges to Alexandria, then transferred to a ship and taken to Beirut. Similar colonies were found in Rome and also near Palmyra. The stench is small in the columned temple of Jupiter, but weighs a few tons. Obviously, transportation over long distances with difficulty on such a scale was entirely within the power of the ancients.

Having locked the main door, the Temple of Jupiter is the center of the acropolis and all of Heliopolis.
The temple stood on a majestic platform, which lay on the slabs of leather from them, as old as twenty meters of weave, five of wedges and almost four of wedges. It was not easy to assemble and deliver such a slab to the place of everyday life, but the architects did not conceive it for the sake of creating legends about the genies of King Solomon and unearthly newcomers. Great cellars were built under the temple, and slabs served as roofs for them. Previously, the region of Heliopolis had experienced frequent and strong earthquakes (over the years the stench destroyed most of its temples). It was decided that the temple of Yakomoga would be put to sleep. However, the obligation to work appears to be beyond the power to inform the shortest alarmists of the Roman Empire. Just three slabs were laid at the base of the temple. For years now the name “trilithon” has been abandoned. The skin from them can weigh up to a thousand tons, and from the skin you can argue about twenty widows and fifteen meters of curls behind the walls of the warehouse.

Dear monk, please note that there is only a quarter slab lying on the base of the temple. Occupy this place with a number of slabs of significantly smaller size. Why did this happen? Didn’t the material run out and the astronauts rushed? However, it turned out that the fourth slab was in use - it was located in a quarry near Baalbek. The baggage weighs a thousand tons. The slab of the table is so large that a person who climbs onto it gives the creeps a creepy feeling.
On the slab you can see numerous traces of chisels, with which thousands of stone masons hewed its sides. And here there is no longer a place for astronauts. Apparently, the most beautiful of their friends is not hardening, because the chisel was a favorite of the Zarkovian arrivals.

On the platform created by the giant plates and their smaller sisters, there is a temple of Jupiter. Until the next day, go in three hours. The temple is surrounded by columns, which, although not in the same way, as the slabs of the trilithon, it is worth it to tell fortunes about them here. The diameter of the columns is approximately three meters. The height of the stench is twenty meters, like a six-surface booth. The skin is folded in three parts and the lower plate is important, and the skin is topped with a colossal shaped capital that trims a rich frieze and cornice. The colonies are so beautiful that one current French writer said: “If they did not exist, there would be less beauty in the world and less poetry under the sky for Lebanon.” All these colonies are a creation of engineering and architectural genius that is significantly more complex, lower than the slab-terrace, and none is attributed to astronauts. Otherwise, the arrival of the arrivals would have been tied to a specific term and place, desired, similar, described before, before, and after the creation of the acropolis, it would have been possible to attribute to them familiarity with the Corinthian order and our there is worship of Jupiter.
Near the temple stood a gold statue of God. Ancient authors write that he was youthful, beardless, and felt the tunic of a charioteer, that in the right hand he raised the scourge of thunder, and in the left hand there was a flash of wheat and a sheaf of wheat. On the day of the Holy Day, the statue was carried from the temple on the shoulders of the famous inhabitants of Heliopolis, who had been preparing for a long time until that day, having shaved their heads, completing the fast and peace. A sacred black stone was also stored at the treasury of the temple. The temple was rich, as it was expected from the Roman Empire. His sacrifices occupied great lands, slaves, and the temple cellars were filled with grain, wine, and other goods.
Livoruch is near the Temple of Jupiter and a little lower than that stands another famous temple of the acropolis, the temple of the goddess Venus. Today this temple is known as the Temple of Bacchus. This is how it sounds in historical passages and in the notes of mandrivniks. You donated to the temple of Jupiter and gave a small assignment from it, but this does not mean that you are truly small. The doors of the temple, which have been preserved, are fifteen meters high, to speak of its size. The frieze of the temple was faced with stone panels, decorated with bas-reliefs with images of Mars, Bacchus with a crown of grape leaves, Mercury, Pluto and Venus, which presses Cupid to the breasts. Three hundred meters from the acropolis, in the late Roman era, another small temple was built, dedicated to Fortuna, the goddess of the valley, a round forged sporuda. Heliopolis flourished until Christianity outnumbered the fierce, sometimes cheerful, often mindless and unreliable ancient gods. The arrival of Christianity meant the setting of the sun of Heliopolis. For another hour, the priests of the acropolis were panting over the place, and with the death of everyone, the poor and humble were celebrating the holy day, and fewer and fewer were lost to the golden Helios. The collapse of pagan Heliopolis was avoided by the catastrophe of the Western Roman Empire. The similar Roman Empire, Byzantium, the Christian power did not want the cult of the ancient gods.

The place of Heliopolis was still alive, and the acropolis was preserved, although the statue of Jupiter was carried out and poured into butter and the temples were plundered. As long as Heliopolis lost an important trading place for the empire, it could not live without temples. How the visa was organized is still a mystery.
The Emperor of Theodosia in the 4th century ordered the construction of a cathedral in the middle of the central square of the acropolis. The Cathedral signifies the victory of the true faith over paganism. The Cathedral, arose in haste, cheaper and simpler, having already collapsed over several dozen years, possibly leaving no traces. Pererobleny was located near the Christian Church and the Temple of Good Luck. It was called the Church of St. Barbara.
Emperor Justinian ordered the destruction of the porphyry colonies on the area of the Acropolis and transport them to Constantinople. The colonies have walked a long way again. Again we crossed the mountains, again arrived at the Beirut harbor by ship, again traveled by sea to the new capital. These colonies went to the vigil of Hagia Sophia - the Christian cathedral near Constantinople. It stinks to stand there today, in the middle of other columns, brought from this similar world, in the middle of a surplus of great and beautiful architectural monuments, degraded by Christianity. The sorcerers of the forces of nature seemed to be waiting for the weakening of Heliopolis. A dozen earthtruders struck the place one by one, and the buildings and churches collapsed. Ale temple of Jupiter.

Even a few hundred years later, the Byzantine Christians were extorted from the sunken town, which lost a lot of value. The Arabs came to this place. Then a legend arose about those temples and majestic platforms created by the genies of King Solomon.
The Arabs, with new strength, began to redraw the Acropolis. More precisely, those that have lost their appearance. Before their arrival, those who had stood for five hundred years had spent a great deal of time. A number of monstrous columns fell to the temple of Jupiter, and their capitals soared far across the courtyard of the acropolis. The earthquakes destroyed most of the wall of the acropolis and destroyed the entrance to the new one.

The Arabs converted the acropolis into a fortress. The high temple, fortified with majestic stone slabs, was built, calling for the fortifiers to vikorize it. From the collapsed slabs and columns new walls and bastions were built. A mosque was built in the middle of the ruins. Another, greater, grew beyond the boundaries of the acropolis. Once again the gods changed, and once again they were worshiped and sang that the very gods themselves are truly true and are dying over the world.
Once again the columns of Jupiter had the opportunity to witness the change of ensigns and the change of gods. The army of the Crusaders of Bohemund of Antioch and Raymond of Edessa took possession of the fort and fought there for an hour, defending against the army of Damascus. The Crusaders faced the destruction of the mosque and our vision of the restoration of the reign of the Christian God. A huge stench rose up, and the mullahs turned around in the mosque. And the colonies of the Temple of Jupiter already towered over these works. The gods, for whose honor the stench was created, died out so long ago that the memory of them was not lost in these parts. And, sharp images of Jupiter and Mars, Christians and Muslims in the mood and full of fantasy took them either for devils or for heroes of old.
The name of the place is lost - Heliopolis. Old Baalbek turned around. One English mandarinist, who visited the ruins of Baalbek in 1751, reported in his notes that in the valley in the middle of the rude poor town there were nine majestic columns. There are anonymous stones and slabs lying around. Another mandrivnik, a Frenchman, thirty years later, had built up more than six of these columns: the Chergov Earthtruck of 1759 knocked down three others. He showed respect to the ruins of the battle helmet that hung in the middle of the columns. Unbeknownst to me, the era was initiated in the 12th century by Bahram Shah, the Volodar of Damascus. For an hour, the first European mandrivniks of Baalbek appeared here, having long since lost their European significance.
Heliopolis allowed his imperial majesty, Kaiser Nimecchini, to interfere. This happened at the beginning of the twentieth century. German archaeologists began systematic excavations of the site. The stinks cleared out the small round temple of Fortuny between the others. Hundreds of years lived in the midst of living huts, filled with earth and surrounded by fences. It turned out that there was no harm in the hour. Years ago, French archaeologists worked here, and the Lebanese Department of Ancient Life took up the baton.
What's going on in Baalbek today? It’s not surprising that the stormy and deplorable fate of the place and the acropolis could not completely erase it from the earth. The Roman and Lebanese architects were so grounded and serious that the greatest loss in Baal Bek itself was from the Roman era, and not from the times of Christians and Muslims.
This does not mean that a lot was saved during the Roman times, but if we say that neither Byzantium, nor the Crusaders, nor the Caliphate lost anything, then it is equally possible Zichnitsky gods is obvious.
Six colossal columns descend from that platform to the Temple of Jupiter and today celebrate the vengeance of everyone who visited Baalbek. The hot, warm stone burns as soon as the sun sets, and the colonies, visible for many kilometers, appear like a Triumphal Arch, a gateway, like no one knows where.
Vivtar on the central square of the acropolis, from the ruins of the Christian cathedral, rises above the slabs and pillars of the columns that were herded by the beast, in front of the temple. Part of the porphyry columns of the central square are intact and at the bottom, covering the entrances to the niches, in which stood statues of heroes and gods. Christian puritans during the Byzantine era built statues. What the stench didn’t do, the Muslim dervishes did.
Of the great temples of Heliopolis, the temple of Bacchus is best preserved. From a distance the building seems completely untidy. Not so. Walls and columns were lost on both sides. The temple is so special and significant - it is itself a temple, a spirit of mysticism, and not like a ruin of a feast - that at the same time it hosts international festivals of drama and music. Shortly before Baalbek, the most beautiful theaters and orchestras of the world arrive, and spectators gather in the pagan temple, a large concert hall of reality. Shgoroku Baalbek comes to life. And since in this temple they previously worshiped the cheerful and unstable gods of Antiquity, then the Mother of God, then Mohammed, now the pagan clocks of Venus and Jupiter have turned to Baalbek.
Temple of Devotion to the Muses.
Near the valley flows the Litani River, the largest and most abundant in Lebanon, and the Orontes River.
Baalbek is located near the people's region of the Nearby. The ancient caravan routes that led to Damascus and Tiru ran along it.
Archaeological excavations in Baalbek showed another 10 thousand. It was fate that the first settlements appeared here: stinks rose from the wonderful green valley, filled with fresh water. There was even more water in the spring when the snow melted on the peaks of Antilevan and streams flowed down the hills.
The main founders of the settlement of the house of the present Baalbek were Egyptian and Assyrian ministers of pagan cults. The most popular place was known under other names in ancient records; the first name Baalbek appeared first in the 14th century. to sound That is, on the clay tablets of Tell el-Amarna, there is a list between ancient Egypt and its representatives in the Mediterranean.
Once again, information about this place appears only after its conquest by Alexander the Great from the 4th century. to sound e. When his empire disintegrated, the place settled at the warehouse of the Ptolemaic empire under the name Heliopolis (Sonary), as a result of which it was the place of the vengeance of Baal - the god of the sun, in which great temples were built in his honor. Baalbek gained wealth under the Seleucids, becoming a great trading place that “settled” the caravan routes with goods and pilgrims, which then became the center of our close-knit paganism and worship of Baal.
The place flourished during the era of the Roman Emperor Augustus (27 BC – 14 AD). when you reached the Roman colony Julia Augusta Felix Heliopolitan. In the period from I to III Art. in Baalbek the impersonality of Roman temples arose, theaters appeared, baths and villages of rich Romans, for whom the beautiful Baalbek became a symbol of the resort.
Changes began with the expansion of Christianity: from the beginning, Emperor Kostyantin defended pagan cults at Heliopolis, and in the 4th century. The remaining Emperor of the united Roman Empire, Theodosius I the Great, ordered the conversion of pagan temples to Christian churches.
At 634 rub. The Arabs buried Baalbek under the funeral of the closest companion of the Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic commander Abu Ubaydi al-Qurashi (583-638). The place began to fall into decay: trade stopped, churches were destroyed and began to collapse.
The Arabs saved Baalbek from strategic sanctuaries, significantly marking it and transforming the temple quarter and the acropolis into a fortress.
Then the place changed hands many times, with a succession of contenders for power in the caliphate. At 659 rub. Ali ibn Abu Talib and Muawiyah fought for the place during the huge war of the first Arab Caliphate. Marwan II 750 rub. having destroyed the walls. At 1175 rub. Saladin buried him. At 1260 rub. The Mongols of Khan Hulagu did not destroy the place at all, they simply did not have enough time. For example, XIII century. at the house of Baalbek Sultan Kalawun was reinstated U 1400 r. - Newly renovated, once again - Tamerlane's army. In the 18th century The place was ruined by the ruler of Palestine, Dazzar, and a series of powerful earth-cowards.
Having fallen under the rule of the Turks, Baalbek moved to the Syrian province of the Ottoman Empire.
Currently a small place in Lebanon.
The fragments of the temple complex that were preserved allowed archaeologists to reconstruct its hidden plan, which was generally characteristic of Roman pagan temples of that era.
In fact, in Baalbek the ruins of three great temples have been preserved, and at the base of the temple terrace are three giant stones, which will be used for most of the constructions.
The renewed interest in Baalbek and the beginning of systematic archaeological excavations led to the remaining German Emperor William II (r. 1859-1941), who came to the city in 1898. on the road to Jerusalem. Inspired by the greatness of the ancient ruins and the fear of how quickly the local inhabitants would stretch them for everyday life, the emperor ordered to send a scientific expedition here (it was rumored that and intelligence department). And just a month later, excavations began under the supervision of the famous archaeologist Otto Puchstein (1856-1911). Despite everything, Puchshtein does not know anything that happened in the pre-Roman period.
Later, French archaeologists began excavations in Baalbek, 1933-1934. how they tried to restore the actions of the past.
Beginning in 2006, after the end of a series of wars in Lebanon, work was carried out to conserve the most valuable buildings of Baalbek. These valuable ruins were not seriously damaged by shells and bombs, but the winds from the rocks destroyed the stones, and cracks appeared on the walls of the temples of Jupiter and Bacchus.
The lower place of Baalbek was rebuilt to resemble the ruins of the acropolis. There is also an entrance to the fenced-off temple plot. Majestic stones led down to the monumental gates - the Propylaea. The colonnade began with a tower of about 150 m. Along the edges of the colonnade there were square tall curtains of about 30 m. Behind the columns there was a six-room door. Behind it are three wide entrances that lead to Vivtarna Square, in the middle of which the great Vivtar stood in ancient times, of which half was preserved: a friend was chosen for the vigil of the Christian cathedral back in the 4th century. Right-handed and left-handed from the beginning there were basins for washing.
The view from Vivtarna Square rose to the temple terrace. The terrace was not just great, but majestic, supported by a wall - the foundation of the entire acropolis, made of stone blocks that are striking in their size. Three of them make up the famous Trilithon, with a length of 21.3 m, a height of 4.8 m, a width of 4 m and a load of 800 tons.
The ancient architects were lucky in the sense that the quarry, where such stones were found, was located at a distance of about a kilometer. Some people have preserved their monoliths until the end.
On the terrace stood the rectilinear temple of Jupiter with a base of 91 m at the bottom and 52 m of the roof with more than half a hundred columns with a diameter of 2 m and a height of 20 m. Six of them have been preserved, and from them one can judge the scale of the dispute.
On the lower terrace - on the day before the Temple of Jupiter - there is a temple of Bacchus, smaller than the Temple of Jupiter, but rather preserved, with columns. The portal - a masterpiece of ancient architecture - leads to the whole: close the interior of the temple.
The third temple of the sanctification of Venus, located 300 m away from the acropolis and was a round spore, which was initially covered with a stone dome.
The temple complex near Baalbek is included in the UNESCO list of the Holy Fall.

The Emperor supplied the oracle with two meals. The first wine was handed over to a sealed envelope and with a warning not to disobey. The oracle mumbled, greatly impressing the emperor: the envelope had a clean paper cover. Having asked Trajan to turn back alive from the campaign against Parthia, the oracle handed over the centurion’s evil stack to him. Apparently, Trajan defeated the Parthians, but died on the way back to Rome.
■ The exploration of Baalbek by the first tourists (rich mandrevniks) began in the 16th century, which is documented.

Its weight reaches 1050 tons, its dimensions are 20x4x4 m. The Arabs call it Hadjar el-Khubla, which can be translated as “the stone that was born from the mother’s womb.” The 1990s rock. near the Baalbek quarry, another monolith was discovered - already 1300 tons in size and measuring 20x4.5x4.5 m. In 2014. The German expedition found an even larger monolith - 1500 tons in weight, and even more - as they intend to move them a whole kilometer.
■ Along the perimeter of the Great Court there are stones here and there with the inscription IOMN (luppiter Optimus Maximus Heliopolitanus), which is translated from Latin as “High and Great Jupiter of Heliopolis.”
Baalbek is one of the most recent images of the architecture of the past, developed in the territory of present-day Lebanon. The scale of this ancient architectural complex is striking, because next to it the richly decorated buildings on top would look like pitiful adobe huts.
Today, in Baalbek, ruins of gigantic proportions have been lost, which indicate the greatness and richness that developed during the development of one of the most ancient places in the whole world.
Thus, to the bottom of the complex there are 27 wide slabs, the height of which reaches the knee of an adult man, and the width of the slabs is such that one could easily accommodate up to a hundred people. The visit to the territory of the temple complex is not enough for the locals of Baalbek; it has important ritual significance, and the large scale of the dispute suggests a positive mood at its best.
Trilithoni at the Temple of Jupiter.
Numerical temple spores are also impressive in their size. At the entrance to the Temple of Jupiter, three giant slabs were laid out in the foundation trench, the top row of which lies at a height of 8 meters. These slabs are called trilitons.
The legend about the appearance of the place of Baalbek says that the trilithons lay there for all eternity, from time immemorial. It’s not surprising, because in this same legend there is a complex of foundations through a hundred fates after the creation of the world. It turns out that this is one of the manifestations of the latest architecture on our entire planet.
Trilithons are made of giant monolithic stone slabs weighing over 750 tons of leather. A total of three monolithic trilithons were placed in the base of the temple of Jupiter, and the remaining one - the fourth block - was left lying nearby, where it hung from a solid stone shaved.
The name "trilithon" is literally translated as "miracle of the three stones." The skin of such a wonderful stone should be set to 21 meters, the edges = 4 meters, and the curls = 5 meters. At this rate, the size of the skin plate becomes approximately 800 tons.
The fourth slab, which had lost its original form and lay in the quarry, is much more like the others. Perhaps its arrangement was planned at the final stage of everyday life. The dovzhin block should be 23 meters, the tops should be over five meters, and the curls should be 4.5 meters. The weight of the fourth slab weighs at least a thousand tons, and is made up of such a quantity that it would be enough to build a five-topped living room with walls 50 cm thick.
Colonies to the Temple of Jupiter near Baalbek.
At the Temple of Jupiter, six columns were miraculously preserved. which are most respected by the most vertical columns in the whole world. Handing over these whole fragments of the Velethen spores, people feel small and helpless before the greater, divine forces.
The central part of the square of the complex, which in its size is as large as a football field, is occupied by the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter. And from the pristine and pristine façades the famous Baalbek terrace is built - a 7-meter-wide smudge, composed of nine large blocks, expertly laid out in three rows.
The enclosure of the Pantheon consists of curlicue walls with five-topped booths. The whole thing is decorated with round decorative niches. The beauty and elegance of today reflect reality even today, due to the fact that they were not the brilliant architects of the past, but powerful enchanters.
Previously, the temple of Jupiter was home to 84 colonies of grandiose dimensions, of which to this day there are only six columns in total. Thus, the diameter of the skin is approximately three meters. The leather column is made up of three parts to accommodate a rich-tonn stone frieze at a height of 22 meters.
Architectural ensemble of Baalbek.
The fortress and temple complex of Baalbek were built in such a way that no one still knows the exact date of its origin - nothing more than a hypothesis, a legend or a paraphrase. The entire Baalbek temple complex outside the perimeter is over 900 meters high, which overturns the pyramid of Cheops. The stone blocks from which this unique ensemble was created are laid in 9 rows.
With this size, the skin block reaches the back of 11 meters, and the back - over three meters. The height of the blocks is 4.5 meters. The capacity to build one such block is not a lot, not a little - 300 tons.
Keep aside the temple of Jupiter, the temple dedicated to Bacchus. This design and fineness is characterized by even smaller dimensions, but at the same time it also conveys its grandeur and grandiose dimensions.
The process of restoration of the temple complex.
How did people manage to carry out such a grandiose dispute without the use of special equipment and modern methods of moving objects and everyday life? As a result of scientific research, it became clear that a large stone slab of leather was cut from a solid rock by hand, and then shaped using the help of heavy chisels. It’s easy to see the work of the robots, which fell on a part of the stonemasons, which took part in the everyday life of the grandiose temple complex.
All food supply is lost and the method of moving large slabs, which weighed at least 300 tons, using ancient slabs. Before that, these stone blocks had to be raised to a certain height and placed in the correct order.
The existing mechanisms at that time simply would not fit in with such tasks. At that time, it was possible that the wooden lifting mechanisms would have fallen apart, as a result of such an obsession they would have simply disintegrated.
This will lead to the most advanced hypotheses and fantastic assumptions about who really was the creator of the Baalbek temple complex. However, there is currently no more reliable type of food available in the food supply.
